Anglicare counselors are:
- trained through FAMSA
- licensed by the Bishop
- under supervision
- non-judgemental
Types of counseling:
- Loneliness
- Confusion
- Relationships
- Bereavement
- Trauma
Anglicare counseling is available to everyone from all walks of life irrespective of religious persuasion.
Anglicare counseling nonetheless is God-centred, and held up to God in prayer whether or not the client is from another faith, denomination or has no faith.
Anglicare counseling is available at other parishes, notably St. Martin's, Rosebank (011-788-5143) and St. Thomas, Linden (contact Deirdre 083-507-1635), St. Michael and all Angels, Weltevreden Park (contact Sue 082-331-1608), and St. Paul's, Parkhurst (contact Sarah 082-467-1222) for anyone not wishing to be counseled at St. Luke's, and for other areas.
