Communion to the sick and housebound

Each year we have numerous requests  to take Communion to those who are too ill or too frail to join us in the Eucharist at Church.  It is a very special privilege to be allowed into their home, and often they want to speak to someone about their anxieties as they cope with being home-bound.  Sometimes it is only a very short term need, other times it is more prolonged.  This time is always welcomed by those we visit, and as we try, whenever possible, to have the family join in, it becomes a much wider ministry.

Please remember that there are always people available to visit, and we do urge the sick or the frail and their families to take advantage of this ministry.
