So, you've decided to pay us a visit!

Excellent. Well this is us. We're not teens yet and we're not children either which means we get away with a lot and blame it on being children. We meet in the parish centre on Sunday mornings for some worship and teaching. We really do learn loads especially from Khula kids notes (Scripture Union notes) So, if you want to have fun and also get to know God, come to Crossings! We know you want to!

Ok the honest truth is that we want to have loads more kids our age to join us. So what we've done is that we've briefly written what we think of our meetings and what we do. We hope, actually no, we are sure that it will entice you to come along. Oh oh oh and did we mention that we get biscuits and juice at every meeting. If that does not make you wanna be here then asazi-ke!

Whats Up?

This term we are concentrating on bringing to our children the Christian values and virtues needed to get through their teens.

How are they going to handle peer pressure?  There is a big group of grade 7's and they need to be equipped with tools to get them through.

As our parents are busier when do they have time to discuss life with us? I have found this group have many deep questions.

What are they going to choose as their path?

They have many pressures and see so much ugliness of our world with violence, extra marital affairs, drug and alcohol abuse in their own communities never mind just the ordinary complications of being a teenager!

Some prayers written by us: 

Dear Lord
As the world is in a state of negativity we pray for
those around who going through war, recession, diseases,
viruses, economical problems.

We pray for each of the contries, cities and town in the world
For the citizens and you children.

For South Africa as we have a new leader that we have appointed
By your will.

For Zimbabwe as there is unfairness going with their leader
Leading them in the wrong direction

Thank you Lord for the grass that is green
And all the wonders we have seen
We are sorry for all the things we have done
But thank you Lord for the battles you have won
We're sorry for chopping down trees
Destroying the earth  and polluting the breeze
