So!  The new year has begun, school has commenced and life is ploughing on.  We kicked off the new year by going into to the depths of Magaliesberg for a camp.  It was a good start, I think.  I was reminded while on that camp that God does everything and we just have to firstly trust Him and secondly to wait on Him.  I remember when I was at Soul Survivour last year, Mike P would sit on the stage and say, ‘ Let us just wait on the Lord...'  then after a few minutes one would start to hear sniffs, sobs, occasional screams and not before long the Spirit would be resting on individuals all over the marquee.  It was amazing to see.  So what's the point?  Well, maybe the year hasn't started so well for you and maybe God seems to be the farthest person ever or even feels like He doesn't care much.  To be honest, my start to this year has been awful and just when I thought it couldn't get worse... it has.  So I called my Dad this morning in sobs and on the brink of drowning in my tears.  He said, ‘ Just wait...'  For the heart that is broken, Just wait.  For the confused mind, Hang in there and just wait.  For the life that seems to have no meaning Just wait... wait for God.  He will act.  He will never leave you nor forsake.  Be strong and courageous ‘cos He knows the plans He has for you.  Plans to give you hope and a future.  Plans not to harm you but to prosper you.

In short...Hang in there and just wait.
