Meals for the sick & housebound

This is a very practical ministry and one where those who have no transport, or are shy or have other people skills problems, can assist.  There is always a need for meals and we ask people to cook a suitable meal-maybe just a little extra whilst you are cooking your own family dinner. We can either take it to whoever needs it or we can freeze a meal so that we have something available when an urgent need arises.  Usually it is the former and we like to phone you direct, tell you who the meal is for, and ask you to personalise it with a note or whatever so that the person who receives it knows that YOU cared.  Recently someone was given a cake with a note - "I prayed for you whilst I  made this", and what a blessing that was for her!
