Bulletin highlights 4 July '10
Theme: Come and See, then Go and Tell
In Christ, we are a new creation, called to follow Him and serve Him in the world. He equips us for this task by giving each of us the ability that we need, and He accompanies us throughout life. Jesus calls us individually, but he never sends us out alone. All our ministry should be in the name of God and under the authority of a church or Christian organisation.
We need to come and see before we go and tell. We must first be blessed by God before we can become a blessing to others.
When we follow Jesus we are receive so much: forgiveness and love, redemption and blessings. We share His resurrection and receive His power. And he sends us out to serve Him. For this task He anoints us with all the ability and power we need.

will be commemorated this year on 11 July. This is the day on which we remember seafarers and all they do to make our lives comfortable. All services on that day will be dedicated to this, and David and the wardens have agreed that the offertory will be donated to the work of the Mission to Seafarers. If those of you with medals wish to wear them, this would add to the celebration of the occasion!

PRESS-ON Ironing Service every Monday
As many are aware, Press-On is an initiative started to give work to unemployed people. The ladies ‘employed' by Press-On rely on the money they make on a Monday-and that money is dependant on the amount of laundry brought in to be ironed. At the moment they have very little work and are therefore not earning much money. If you know of any potential customers-please tell them about Press-On -
» Drop off washed and dried laundry on Monday mornings between 07h30 and 10h00
» R 10 per kilo
» Collect (usually) the same day, either at lunch time or at 16h30.
