Sue Tinsley

Sue Tinsley has been married to Roger for nearly 33 years and they have three grownup children who are all married. Sue is a Counselling Psychologist in her own busy practice and really feels privileged to do the job she does and enjoys her work.

She has a special interest in "spiritual formation" having been in spiritual direction herself for a number of years and also having done a two year intensive course through the Jesuit Institute in spiritual direction. She has led a number of retreats and quiet days , and enjoys giving spiritual direction.

Sue is passionate about individuals taking responsibility for their own Christian formation and believes that we should all be developing and growing in our Christian lives "Until we all reach unity in the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Eph 4:13) .

Sue enjoys hiking and walking trails, is a voracious reader, enjoys handwork and being creative and loves spending time with her Family. A new challenge is a Pointer puppy of 9 months who requires constant exercise but is very lovable and has even got Sue attempting some running!!

The Christian formation portfolio seems to be ideally suited to Sue's interests having been involved for a number of years in many different areas of formation and growth. She is hoping to bring a sense of vibrancy and excitement to this portfolio, which in so many ways is community based but also intensely personal.
