Baptisms
Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as His children and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the church, and inheritors of the Kingdom of God.  We are baptised into Christ to share His life and to be renewed by the enlivening power of His presence.  Baptism is therefore the primary sacrament of the church and must be taken very seriously.  It marks the moment of Christian birth, and the start of a life-long relationship of growth and development.

Confirmation
Confirmation is an affirmation of the promises made at the time of baptism.  It is a wonderful privilege and a serious commitment, not an automatic right, and requires taking full responsibility for one’s faith by living out what one believes.

Funerals
For a Christian, death is only a stage in our journey towards the fullness of eternal life with our risen Lord, Jesus Christ.  It is, however, a very real event.  Although there can be joy for the Christian who has been fully united with God, there is also a natural sadness in being separated from one who is loved.  It is something we will all experience.  As with all other events in our lives, prior preparation will be of great help to all concerned.

Admission to Communion
Any baptised person who is at least 6 years of age, has been brought up in a Christian environment, received basic instruction in the faith and exhibited some insight as to the significance of the sacrament, may be admitted to communion.  It is a wonderful ministry of acceptance and belonging for young people.

Confession
One of the great treasures of our faith. Many people continue to carry burdens of sin and guilt from which God is both prepared and longing to set them free. This particular ministry is carried out only by priests. It is totally confidential. Allied to it are our Counselling and Healing Prayer ministries.
