Welcomers

The Welcomers and Sidespeople Ministries have now been combined, as they essentially perform the same function. Four people will now be on duty at the 9.30 Sunday Service. The core function of this Ministry is to welcome both newcomers and regulars.  This plays an important part in making people feel that they are cared for and loved. This may be their first contact with the Church and as such, everyone is essentially part of this Ministry.  Please make others feel welcome at St Luke's, even if you are not an "official" welcomer. Please assist others to get to know you by wearing your Name tag. This will also mean that you will be able to receive Communion by name.  If you would like to become an "official" welcomer, please contact the office.
