Why I come to Crossings

Prudence:

I come to Crossings becasue I want to learn about God, about respect and courage.  To have opportunities in doing something to have more experience and to lear obedience.  I enjoy working in groups and listening to ideas.  We learn about friendship and how important family and everybody around us is.

Florence:

I come to Crossings coz I want to learn more than I know about God, I want to worship and thank him for the blessing he gives to me and others, the life he has given me and the forgiveness when I did something 'ungood' or wrong.

Mathew:

I come to Crossings because it is a place where we can learn about You in a fun and exciting way and meet new people inside our faith.

Sharon:

I come to Crossings to learn more about my religion and to make new friends.  Crossings is fun and we learn a lot.  Coming to Crossings is my favourite thing to do on a Sunday.  We sing cool songs and do awsum stuff. It is a good place to talk to God.

Stephen (Grade 6):

Dear Jesus

I ask in prayer that you be with me when I write these words.

I go to Crossings to worship the Lord and pray to him about my problems at schol, my house and at church.  I also pray for sick people and poor people so that you, the son of God, the Holy Spirit can heal them.

Ntanto:

To praise God and Jesus, to show that I love Jesus, so that Jesus can forgive my sins, to pray for those who have bad luck, to learn to forgive others and to obey him.

Masego:

I come to Crossings because I want to know more about Jesus and how he lived.  Like did he sin or not?  Why did he die for my sin? 

And we share our talents and learn more about the Bible and how to share our ideas and how to respect our parents and teachers and how to forgive others.

Mali:

I come 2 Crossings to know and learn more about God.

I come 2 Crossings to make and love friends.

I come 2 Crossings to love and care.

Timothy (Grade 6):

I come to Crossings because:

  • we worship and praise God
  • we get in touch with God
  • we pray
  • we meet our friends
  • we learn about Jesus, his disciples and what happened to them
  • we have fun.
Kgotso:

I come to Crossings becasue I want to learn more about God and make friends and help each other with family problems.

Palesa:

I come to Crossings to worship God.  I come to Crossings to learn more respect , to be honest to yourself and others, to thank him for what he does for me during the week and in every day life and to forgive me for my sins that I did by mistake and to forgive me for what I did to others.

Kelly (Grade 7):

I'm here to learn about rights and wrongs, to pray to our Father and sing worship songs.

I'm here to give Him praise and thank Him for the beautiful day.

I'm here to serve the Lord and ask Him to help me with my school work.

I'm here to thank Him for His love and allowing me to live.

I'm here to respect Him and keep Him  in my heart.

I come to Crossings to seek blessings from God and for him to give me the light of hope and to believe in myself and courage to understand what the meaning of life is.

Memello:

I come to Cossings because I want to praise and worship Jesus and I come to make friends with my fellow pupils.

Petunia:

I come to Crossings becasue I want Jesus to always be with me and to worship and praise him.  He is my life and why I live.

Aviwe:

I come to Crossings becasue I want to praise God and to show Him how much I love Him and am very grateful that He took his life away just for our sins.  I also come to Crossings to pray for my family, friends and everybody else including my enemies.  I also come to learn more about God and have more experience about Him.

Kirsten:

I come to this holy place to learn about the fullness and love of God.

A place where I may worship and praise God with other followers.

A haven for people that are lost, and have come to find the Lord.

A place where I may pour out my love for God.

This place is where I have grown spiritually in God.

I will never forget this place, for it holds God's family.

And as I grow, my love for God and his people will grow with me.

I come to Crossings to praise God.

I come to to worship God.

I come to pray for the poor.

I come to donate to the poor.

I come to learn about Jesus.

I come to pray for others.

Icome to drink the red wine which is Jesus blood.

I come to learn and obey his rules.

I come to learn about the ten commandments.
